About Us
- Kiwanis Club of Stuart has three signature projects: Shopping with Santa, Pancakes & Reading in the Park, and Back to School Event and we still have our annual Christmas Ornament fundraiser. These ornaments typically sell out each year, and our community looks forward to the beautiful design of a local landmark. This year’s ornament is no exception! Visit our FB page or website at www.kiwanisclubofstuart.org for more information. Of special interest is the club’s focus to our Kiwanis Park downtown. After several years of the installation of the barrier-free area with sun shade, we are now looking at renovating the remainder of the park. We will replace the two sand lots with a safe, artificial surface, install sun shades, replace equipment, and will offer a quiet area of the park for those in our community who have autism or sensory issues. It will be a huge undertaking, taking two years or more, and with a commitment of a few hundred thousand dollars. Past experiences prove that if Kiwanis Club of Stuart sets its sights on something, it’s attainable!
